30 East Drive

On Tuesday night we investigated 30 East Drive in Pontefract, England, along with Paranormal Hauntings and Hidden Realm Paranormal.

Although David has investigated here before, it was a first for myself (Karen), Deborah and Julie.
Having heard so many differing opinions on the house and it’s activity, I went in with an open mind, and that I would decide for myself.
I have to say that we didn’t feel anything particularly negative in the house.
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, and we had been told that the smallest bedroom had been particularly active that week.

During the first session, some of us started in the boys room, before heading into the master bedroom. We did get some responses on the Afterlight in the boys bedroom. As we moved into the master bedroom, ‘knives’ came through. There has been a lot of reported activity by other teams regarding knives. Julie tried some scrying in the mirror. She said she felt like she had a curly moustache. We carried on with the Afterlight app, and we were getting a lot of names comes through, as well as some religious responses. Myself, and Aimee and Phil heard a dragging noise, we looked to see what it could’ve been, but we couldn’t find anything. I also felt like my bra strap got pinged, not saying it’s paranormal but don’t know what it was, just a personal experience. On speaking to the rest of the guys downstairs, they said they also heard a dragging noise from upstairs, and they also had religious references come through while they were using the Project Paranormal app.

Julie had gone into the Coal Shed as a lot of activity has reportedly happened in there, but she said nothing happened and she felt fine in there herself.
Myself, Julie and Deborah then went upstairs, into the little girls room and used the Project Paranormal app. We got the name of Emma and Emily come through, and Deborah’s name was said. On our initial walk around when we first entered the house, Deborah has said she could see a green light pattern on the wall, and said she though it was maybe a portal. While we were live, a viewer, who was a medium, said he thought the room was a portal. We then moved into the bathroom, as that was where Joe was reported to have died. Julie got in the bath, hoping that would get some responses. Then came loads of ‘get out’s and ‘leave’.

Downstairs reported a lot of intelligent responses, and also some strange noises that they couldn’t explain. Someone asked it they could ring the bell that they had placed in the hall, and a bell ringing could clearly be heard ringing through the app. They also had the names Emma and Emily come through. The name Joe came through, and they asked where he does and got ‘bathroom’ as a response. They also asked about the reported Black Monk, and if he existed and the response was ‘no’.
We then did some human pendulum with Adam from Hidden Realm and then Deborah from our team, while the app was running. The responses from the did seem to correlate with the human pendulum.

At the end of the night, it was just our team and Adam from Hidden Realm that was left and we did one last quick session. David asked for it so say his name, and David Barrett could clearly be heard.

I do feel that the house is definitely haunted by a few spirits, but we didn’t encounter anything negative, and felt the house had quite a calm atmosphere.
